New Make-Up & Skincare Haul

Hey y’all!

I went to Ulta this past week to restock on some of my fave products and I ended up picking up a couple of new things to try as well. Also, I was #influenced by pretty much all of the “big name” bloggers that I follow and purchased a couple of items so I wanted to let you guys know how I fell about them!

First, I want to talk about my favorite setting spray. Everyone talks about the Urban Decay All-Nighter setting spray and truthfully I’m sure it’s fabulous. However, I think that people aren’t giving the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Make-Up Setting Spray. My skin gets oily as the afternoon rolls around and this completely stops that oil in its tracks. Totally worth it to buy the 4 OZ bottle for $33 at Ulta!

I am not usually one for foundation, I haven’t ever worn one consistently. However, I am in a friend’s wedding next weekend and I needed some for the pictures. I tried a couple of brands that I had samples for in my make up bag to get an idea of what I liked and this one stood head and shoulders over the rest of the ones that I tried and the shade was perfect for me. NARS Sheer Glow definitely lives up to its name by giving a light glow and feeling like there’s nothing on your skin at all. I wear shade Santa Fe.

While I was waiting to check out at Ulta, I saw the travel size products that are around the line (very good marketing on their part and very dangerous for my budget lol). The one that caught my eye the most was a travel size of It Cosmetics CC+ Cream. I had seen Shelbi from itsallchictome.com rave about it and it was only $10 so I had to try it. I would definitely call it full coverage and I don’t think the color I bought matches my “winter skin tone” haha but I did like how it felt on my skin and I think it blended very well and it stayed through a whole day of working in my storeroom at work. I also love that it has SPF 50 so I think it’s going to be great for boat days as spring and summer roll around.

The last thing I got at Ulta was an Anti-aging eye cream from No 7. I use this at night with a heavier moisturizer than I wear during the day. I’m still waiting to look 16 again but I like that it’s not too heavy and that a little bit goes a long way. (I also use the No 7 day time moisturizer I’ll link it as well)

Has anyone else felt like Tula is slowly taking over the world? I feel like every influencer or blogger that I follow uses at least one of their products. I gave in to the massive amount of peer pressure and discount codes and bought the Glow and Get it Eye Balm and the Cult Classic Purifying Cleanser. After 2 weeks of using these products, I think I can safely say that these are worth the hype.

The Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm is so strange and awesome all in one. When you put it on you can feel the temperature of your under eyes drop significantly and it feels tingly. Also, it has a really pretty highlight and I swear you can see it under your make up. I use this in the morning and just do a couple swipes under my eyes and then pat it in to my skin. I’ve seen a few gals on Instagram say that they put the balm over their make up for an afternoon refresh as well but I’ve tried it and I feel like it just made my make up look funky.

I was very lucky in my teen years that I didn’t have too big of a problem with acne. Usually, I would just get one pimple while I was on my period. Unfortunately, my acne has gotten more frequent recently so I have been on the hunt for a product that would minimize that. This cleanser is IT! I hope I’m not jinxing anything but I have been using this in the shower for the last two weeks and I haven’t had a pimple at all (and I’ve even been on my period)! I completely understand why it’s called the “Cult Classic”.

Alright lovelies! Let me know if these work for you and other things that you love and maybe we can those products together!
