Fourth of July is such a fun day; enjoying being outside in the sunshine enjoying a cookout and a cold beverage with friends and family and a day off of work. We have so much to celebrate on this day. There may be things that I don’t agree with happening in this country but I definitely think that this is an amazing country. It absolutely affords us freedoms that cannot be exercised in other countries around the world and as such should be celebrated. All of that is to say that I think one of those freedoms is to wear super cute red, white, and blue outfits to BBQs and fireworks and I think that we should exercise and celebrate that freedom haha.
So, I thought that I would show y’all some things that would make for super cute outfits for such events.
To start off with we have some red earrings from Sugarfix by Bauble Bar which has been a serious favorite of mine recently.
Beaded “firework” earrings -$10
Side note: I think these are PERFECT for the 4th while not being too “on the nose for the holiday or wearing them on any other day of the year
As another side note, literally EVERYTHING in this collection at Target is amazing and I highly suggest you check it out if you even somewhat like these two pairs of earrings. Also, if your local Target doesn’t have what you’re looking for you can order it to the store and get free shipping as long as you go pick it up with your government issued ID matching the credit card.
Blue & White Vertical Striped Jumpsuit – $65
Continuing on, I think this jumpsuit is amazing with or without a holiday but throw on one of those red earrings I just talked about and that is such a quintessentially 4th of July outfit you may as well be wearing an apple pie or a firework haha.
What makes it even more enticing is that if you use the code “kim20” its 20% off!
Another item where that code is viable is this adorable ruffle swimmy that would so cute for a pool party under the fireworks.
Again, I think this dress would be adorable with a little heeled brown or camel sandal and one of the pairs of earrings from above.
It’s a Love Story Dress, White – $44
This is such a cute little mini dress with some white keds or sandals and some white statement earring – perfection all summer long.
If you’re anything like me, you have a lot of cute red and blue tops but often you’re looking for an option other than jean shorts to spice up the wardrobe landscape. I submit for your approval these super cute white shorts that seem like they won’t leave your booty hanging out and will compliment your ever-growing top collection.
Wonderful Love Floral Romper – $44
Pink Lily Boutique has a whole section for Americana-esque clothing which is all pretty darn cute.
There are a ton of graphic tees that range from poignant to hilarious and this one is one of my faves from this collection.
Because of the Brave Graphic Tee – $26
Because of my personal love and relation for several people in the armed services this one really hits home for me.
Are you tired of adorable sundresses yet? Because I’m not and I don’t think I ever will be!
Twist-Back T-shirt Dress – $13!!!
This dress comes in navy and red as you can see here and I love this over a swimmy or as a main event with comfort and style. The back twist detail makes this an even easier purchase. (I’m speaking from experience because I literally just bought this in red haha.)
This is not a typo; this top is literally nine dollars! Also, it’s adorable and would look great with a white statement earring and paired with the white shorts from above or a jean skirt or shorts. A top like this is so versatile it’s a wonderful piece of any spring/summer/fall wardrobe.
Blue & White Tie Front Linen Shirt – $14
I have a top similar to this in my closet and I love that it will hide lots of alcohol and food related “evils” haha.
So, lovelies, this has been a few of my faves for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Hopefully these outfits inspire you to sing “America the Beautiful” a little bit louder than you otherwise would have!
